Congrats to the marriage of Joanna and John!!


These two are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet! They had a rough engagement photo session with another photographer and were skeptical and needless to say, a bit nervous to put their trust into me. They voiced their concerns and I assured them that this will not be the case! We made the engagement shoot a fun, date night for the two of them. From prancing in the water, too climbing around on rocks and ending the evening soaking wet. The photos turned out beautiful, with genuine smiles and laughter. My heart was so full when John and Joanna expressed how much fun and how comfortable they were at our shoot! Months later I get an email out of the blue asking for me to be there photographer their WEDDING! I was elated and quickly said ummm YES!!!

Arrival at the hotel


Traveled up to Carpinteria, enjoying the beautiful drove up PCH. Once I arrived I was so excited to see the bride and groom again after our engagement session! They welcomed me with open arms. The bridal party was SO fun and so sweet! Witnessing while they are pouring bubbly, doing their hair and make up. Joanna had a fun beach sparkly dress which I think perfectly encapsulated her personality!

Next stop - the venue!


The cutest red trolly shuttled everyone too and from the venue throughout the night. Added such a fun little San Fransisco vibe to the day! The groom and groomsmen headed out first to hide and await the bride!

HERE SHE COMES!!!


Joanna arrives in the trolly, and after her bridal party she walks down the aisle with Huckleberry by her side. Joanna and John's eye's were locked the entire time.

And to no one's surprise, she says YES! <3


After a brief ceremony John kissed the bride, everyone stood up and blew bubbles, it was such a pretty site on a bright beach day.

Now it was time to relax and enjoy some drinks at the open bar!

Close family members and friends gave such heartfelt speeches and the bride and groom listened intently
